Do you know of sample cases of economic sabotage? Also, any chance that anyone here ever read a case where a filed case of economic sabotage against a country that was successful? There are cases of economic sabotage but I need to know any successful case that was filed from a country to another. No luck googling it so far. Thanks.

South Africa neutralized the Zimbabwean economy.  There is a springer book on the topic https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1057/9780230372146_4

Interesting concept.  I did not know there was a term for Economic Sabotage.  Does implementing tariffs and sanctions count as sabotage or is that outside of the realm because the nation is following a tit-for-tat strategy?

Really, any country that has tried to run a socialist system is under this term. The economy of Venezuela is a prime example of this happening right now. They screwed over the entire nation and it fell to pieces in a matter of months.

I don't know a confirmed case yet but I think economic sabotage could happen both in developed and developing countries. There is no exception if the government is not responsible in handling the country's resources, the entire country could suffer.

Depends on your school of Economic thought.  The neoclassical approach would be to turn over management of the natural resources to the free markets.  However, then you have the problem of who to assign the residual wealth.  We have seen many instances where governments plunder the wealth associated with Oil.
