They say it is best to start planning for retirement around the age of 30. Getting a savings going and cutting back on small spending while focusing on paying off debts like cars, homes, university debts, and medical bills are best to be done in your 30's and 40's. I would love to say I have a plan in motion but I don't. I am in my late 20's and still figuring out a career path here. I am married but no kids, not yet. My wife and I want to focus on buying a home and starting a nest egg first. I likely won't be in the realm of planning my retirement until I am in my 40's.
Do you have a retirement plan yet?

I have none yet as I'm still paying off debt. But soon I will have.
