I took Esther Duflo's MOOC on Poverty Economics about 4 years ago from the MIT edX site. It was an amazing course and really gave me a new way to look at the topic. Has anyone else had similar experiences?
Must've been a wonderful experience specially now that she's become a Nobel prize winner. I would love to have an opportunity studying with Michael Kremer if possible. I've read lots of articles about their work this year and I've watched some of Kremer shows and he also seems to have this aura of knowledge that I would very much like to see for myself in hopes of learning new things.

Yeah, studying development economics with Michael Kremer at Harvard would be pretty awesome
I really don't have many thoughts on these. Nobel prizes are great and mark amazing achievements but I feel a lot of great research and efforts get pushed aside because of them anymore.
I did find this pretty interesting: https://www.nobelprize.org/nobel-prize-lessons-economic-sciences-2019/ if you like the topic, you can learn more about it.
